On February 28th, Asia Broadband Inc. announced a mint event release for its exclusive Non-Fungible Token (“NFT”) Phase 1 collection, branded “Golden Baboons Mining Club” (GBMC). And today, Phase 2 of the GBMC collection has been released.

Here’s what we know:

GBMC is the initial NFT collection from AABB backed by physical gold and is the first gold mine-to-NFT backed project, The collection is a limited release of 8,888 NFTS, and ten lucky buyers from the entire collection will receive a rare Legendary GBMC NFT backed by one troy ounce of gold.

Phase 1 of the GBMC collection surpassed its sales target of 888 NFTs. Now whitelisted registrants on the Permitted List can mint Phase 2 of the GBMC collection at a low cost of .04 ETH per NFT.

The mint will begin at 5 p.m. EST and will be available on the GBMC website. The company has launched discussion boards on Discord and has been active on Twitter since the NFT concept was introduced several months ago.

The final phase of the mint will be open to the general public on March 13th at a price of .05 ETH per NFT.

Based on the early enthusiasm and interest of those inside the AABB and NFT communities for the GBMC, the project is gaining strong preliminary momentum. With the backing of the company’s physical gold, the GBMC also has a special utility.
