Thanks to Austin Wilde, authentic Banksy artwork will soon be accessible on MakersPlace (the premier art NFT marketplace).

The Banksy by Austin Wilde x NFT series will include artwork created by well-known graffiti artists and has some great functionality.

On October 4 at 12 p.m. PT / 3 p.m. ET, the first drop, which consists of five NFTs, begins.

In addition, there is one 12-inch vinyl record and four different posters that are NFTs.

Series BADMEANiNGOOD NFT is produced by Austin Wilde.

Former graffiti artist, creative director, and proprietor of an independent label, Austin Wilde is now a music instructor.

He was the head of a record company that released cult classic collections in the early 2000s.

These albums included the BADMEANiNGOOD hip-hop series.

Austin Wilde enlisted the assistance of unidentified graffiti artist Banksy to produce the album’s artwork. For the 2002–2003 releases, Banksy created four unique album covers, posters, and an extra 12′′ sleeve.

Nearly 20 years later, the well-known street artist Banksy has given Austin full ownership to the designs. This choice allows BADMEANiNGOOD to enter the MakersPlace NFT market.

“It’s been over two decades since I released this series featuring talented musicians and Banksy’s original designs. I’m honored to introduce this unique vinyl, CD, and poster artwork to a whole new audience and bring them to life through the digital world.” Wilde said.

Here are the original Banksy NFTs

Early in the new millennium, the first volume of Wilde’s compilation series BADMEANiNGOOD was released, including the music producer Skitz.

For the record cover, Banksy produced a unique image of heavy artillery sporting a pair of Adidas sneakers.

Graffiti artist Banksy also utilized photos from his own collection for the other album covers, modifying them to match the BADMEANiNGOOD concept. Now, these pictures will be included in the next NFT collection.

Therefore, over the following months, Wilde and MakersPlace will issue a number of collection series editions using Banksy designs as they have full ownership to the artwork. Additionally, the majority of them are authentic Banksy pieces of art with limited edition posters, and some even have original, deadstock, and pristine vinyl.

On October 4, the first of five NFT collections will be released.

The first batch of original Banksy artwork-adorned BADMEANiNGOOD NFTs will be on sale on October 4th.

There are five NFTs in this collection, which are:

A tangible Vinyl 12′′ Remix record, an O.G sticker, and a second-edition 50x70cm Roots Manuva poster inscribed and autographed by Wilde are included with the purchase of Vinyl 12′′ REMIX: Roots Manuva x The Beatles: Yellow Submarine – The Completest Edition, which has a 2 ETH reserve.

Additionally, four special huge posters NFTs with reserves of 1-2 ETH each will be put up for auction.

Ukraine will benefit from the original Banksy artwork NFTs.

Both MakersPlace and Austin Wilde have committed to giving 10% of the money they make from selling Banksy NFTs to MOAS Mission Ukraine.

MOAS is a nonprofit organization that supports those impacted by the terrible conflict in Ukraine by offering medical care and assistance.

Finally, on October 4, the MakersPlace website will begin selling the NFTs.
